Kid Care

   Ziggys Necropsy: A Study of Enterotoxaemia in Kids
   Ziggy was a bottle kid given to us that passed away around 8 weeks old from Enterotoxaemia. Rather than have his loss be for nothing, we opted to perform a necropsy and do a photo study of what entero looks like postmortem. Ziggy is a testament to switching feeds slowly. Anything that slows down, stops or interrupts the normal flow of digestion in any way can set a kid up for entero. Hope our loss helps you understand your goats better.
